“The Loft” at Guildford County School

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of The Loft, a brand new SEND unit for autistic students at Guildford County School.

Delivered on time and within budget, this thoughtfully designed space welcomed its first 10 students this September and will gradually expand to support up to 25 students in the coming years.

Designed with care and purpose, The Loft offers a mix of teaching spaces, quiet areas, and shared work zones, creating a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can thrive.

As the appointed Quantity Surveyor, MEA played a central role in managing the project’s financial performance from concept through to completion. Our team was responsible for ensuring that The Loft was delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard, while providing best value outcomes for both the client and the community it serves.
