We’re a friendly team that goes the extra mile. Many of our senior people have been with us for decades and we all feel like the custodians of the business – keen to preserve our strong heritage.
From MEA’s foundation in 1967, we’ve grown to three offices across the centre of London, leafy Surrey and the historic city of Bath. From these locations we’re trusted to manage landmark projects nationwide – with budgets between £500,000 and £50 million. This work includes private residential, schools, affordable flats, prestigious services offices, shopping centres and more.
We’ve grown through word-of-mouth recommendation, with long-standing client relationships across the private and public sector. We’re regulated by the professional body for our industry – RICS – and we’re BS EN ISO 9001:2015 accredited.

A subsidiary of MEA, Building Schools for Nothing (BSfN) provides consultancy services to schools, academy trusts and multi academy trusts to develop strategies for generating unique funding solutions to deliver new school buildings and facilities.
BSfN is able to identify and unlock assets that a school owns to generate funds for much needed new buildings and facilities, enabling schools to enjoy the benefits that they bring without impacting on day-to-day finances.

In 2020, following two years of close collaboration, Clark Associates officially became a part of the MEA group, rebranded as MEA Clark. For over two decades, Clark Associates, under the leadership of Will Clark, had been serving the construction industry with exceptional Quantity Surveying and Project Management services from their South West base. Now operating from our South West office in Beehive Yard, Bath, MEA Clark has seamlessly integrated into the MEA business unlocking additional support and resource for our clients.
In 2022, MEA expanded its reach and capabilities by welcoming the London-based Quantity Surveying firm Hother Associates into the MEA group, now rebranded as MEA Hother. With a legacy dating back to 1992, Hother Associates had firmly established themselves as a dynamic and progressive practice, offering expert services in Construction Cost Consultancy and Contract Administration to clients across a wide spectrum of industries. Their portfolio comprised a diverse range of projects, ranging from multi-million-pound developments to smaller fit-outs and refurbishments. Now seamlessly integrated into MEA and operating from our London office at The Print Rooms, Southwark, our London-based clients enjoy the added benefits of the wealth of industry knowledge, resources, and experience that the Hother team brings to the table. This strategic move strengthens our commitment to delivering top-tier service and support to our clients in the capital and beyond.
