On Friday, 23rd November we were delighted to attend the inaugural Bath Property Awards to celebrate the best in property that Bath has to offer. MEA client, St John’s Foundation, had a project shortlisted, Chandos House. MEA acted as PM and QS for this project.
We were honoured to have been involved in this event and wish all of the winners many congratulations, particularly to Stonewood Builders for winning the ‘Contractor’ category, and Aaron Evans Architects for winning ‘Architect of the year’! It was a privilege to work with them both on the redevelopment of Chandos House for the St John’s Foundation which was shortlisted in both the ‘Transformation’ and the ‘Residential Development’ categories.
This unique development in the heart of Bath was originally an Almshouse, built in 1729. This historic Grade II* listed building was renovated to create seven, elegant, individual apartments, offering high-quality retirement living in a picturesque and vibrant city centre setting.
