Renovation works on the Grade II listed Manor House in Royal Wootton Bassett have now been completed, and the project was highlighted on BBC News today. This significant restoration has transformed the former magistrates’ court into a modern, multi-purpose facility that will serve the community with meeting rooms, exhibition space, office areas, and a CCTV hub. Commissioned after a council relocation, this project has breathed new life into an important local landmark.
Representing MEA Construction Consultants at today’s opening event hosted by Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council were Mark Saint and William Kennett, who both played key roles in the renovation. Commenting on the project, Mark Saint said, “It’s been a pleasure to work on this important project for Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council. This retrofit has preserved the architectural heritage of a cherished landmark while creating flexible spaces that will benefit the community. We’re delighted to be here today to celebrate the revitalisation of this building, which will be used and enjoyed for many years to come.”
