Private Client

This project involved replacing a 1950s dwelling with a 215m² certified Passivhaus featuring a 22m² connected store/workshop and a carport. Constructed with a timber frame and finished with stone, slate, and timber cladding, the new structure integrates seamlessly with its natural surroundings.
The new property boasts high levels of insulation, an airtight membrane, an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), a Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system, and solar photovoltaic (PV) panels integrated into the carport roof. The result is a beautiful, energy-efficient home that enhances occupants’ lives and significantly reduces energy use and costs, thereby minimising the environmental footprint.
Engaged as Quantity Surveyors, MEA Construction Consultants managed all aspects of cost planning, tendering, on-site valuations, and final account agreements, ensuring seamless execution delivered to budget.
