MEA are pleased to be providing project management and quantity surveying services to the new animal science building at Cirencester College who recently celebrated the start of construction work on this new facility.
College principal Jim Grant marked the official start of construction of this £700,000 project with the cutting of the first sod ceremony.
The new 240 square metre centre has been designed to be sympathetic with the Cotswold landscape including the specially sourced larch cladding which will cover the building.
This new facility which is due to be completed in July 2019, will be fitted out with a specialist climate controlled Reptile Room, a dedicated Mammal Room and extra teaching space. The building is to be surrounded by its own outdoor facilities where students will work with some of the small mammals at the college.
The centre is going to provide the college’s Animal Care and Management students with the most up to date industry-standard facilities.
