MEA Bath team raising funds for Julian House

On Sunday, 26th September the more energetic team members (Denise, Harry & Jenn) from the MEA Bath Office are once again lacing up their hiking boots and polishing their walking poles ready to take part in the 20 mile Circuit of Bath Walk in order to raise much needed funds for Julian House.

The 20 mile circular route encompasses beautiful countryside and spectacular views across the city of Bath and includes a mixed terrain of footpaths, roadway, flat fields through to hills and will take the team through Bath’s very quaint surrounding village.

Julian House is a homeless charity based in Bath. They provide, housing, support and guidance to some of the most marginalised people in society – the homeless.  They provide life changing support to over 1,400 vulnerable individuals across the South West, including those suffering from homelessness, women and children escaping domestic abuse and adults with learning difficulties. Alongside their emergency hostel, they also provide supported accommodation and training and education opportunities to help people gain confidence, re-build their lives and fulfil their potential.

Your support in our fundraising activities would be very much appreciated and if you would like to sponsor please visit our JustGiving page and we promise not to publish gruesome pictures of our blisters afterwards.

In addition to the Circuit of Bath walk, the team are also taking part in the Brain of Bath Quiz in support of Julian House in October.  We will post more updates on this event nearer the time.
