MEA were pleased to have provided Quantity Surveying services for the men’s locker room refurbishment at The Richmond Golf Club, which was handed over in April. On completion we were delighted that the works came in £23K under budget, even after the unexpected discovery of asbestos under the slab. This was a very successful project and was carried out in conjunction with Farminer Developments (the main Contractor) and Crane & Associates who were the Project Architects.
The Richmond Golf Club is a private members’ club located in a stunning, Grade 1 listed, early-Georgian Mansion (formerly the Hunting Lodge of the Duke of Argyll), set within a beautiful parkland course, adjoining Richmond Park and Ham Common. The new high specification locker room includes shower and toilet facilities, with a new reception and attendant’s area, and are capable of delivering constant hot showers for 100 members within 30 mins.
