Woolmer Hill School

MEA was delighted to provide Quantity Surveying services for the renovation project at Woolmer Hill High School in Haslemere, part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust. 

This project saw the successful delivery of a modern two-storey purpose built English block, complete with six new, state-of-the-art classrooms and a learning resource centre. 

The works also included an extension of the existing school building, providing a new drama studio linked to the current facility, a convenient ‘grab-and-go’ food pod connected to the main kitchen, and a lift to improve accessibility throughout the school. Additionally, a new multi-use hard play area was constructed, offering flexible space for various sports such as netball, basketball, football and badminton.  These super new facilities will support Woolmer Hill’s growing student intake.

Careful phasing ensured that major works were undertaken during the school holidays, minimising disruption and allowing the school to remain open throughout.  The project was completed on time, ready for the Autumn Term.
