For the past eight years, the Schools & Academies Show (formerly The Academies Show) has been the leading education policy and best practice event designed to support school business management. Running over two days, it brings together a community of education professionals to discuss the issues faced today, and the future of the education sector.
BSfN was created to unlock the assets that schools own to release funds for much needed new school buildings. This means that schools can enjoy the benefits of their new buildings, at no net cost.
At the show we will be showcasing our most recent success story, Three Rivers Academy, and how we planned and delivered a complex strategy to provide £40m of replacement school buildings without direct funding from local or central government.
Learn how we helped turn a failing school with run down and poorly located buildings, where pupil numbers and results were declining, into a new state of the art school which has achieved its aim to transform and rebrand itself, where students now feel proud to belong and work hard to succeed.
This self-funded £40m project has delivered a 15,000m2 school with high-quality, spacious accommodation including amazing sport, drama, dance and music facilities, designed to inspire 21st century learning and to allow students to perform at the highest level. The new school building has been shortlisted for several building awards, and was the only UK school to have made the shortlist for the final of the World Architecture Festival Awards in the completed schools category.
