Ladywell Convent

Ladywell Convent is a long-standing client of MEA, over the years, we have worked on the renovation and redevelopment of multiple Grade II listed buildings on their site. Our projects have included the creation of new accommodation, communal areas, and amenities, as well as the construction of brand-new buildings for staff quarters, additional accommodation, and workshops.

Our latest project focused on renovating, reconfiguring, and extending the existing St. Francis building. Contemporary office spaces were created in the main wing and revitalised living areas in the front lodge. The work involved stripping out and partially demolishing the existing structure, followed by comprehensive preparation and construction of the extension and internal spaces. All areas were meticulously outfitted to meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

As quantity surveyors, MEA were responsible for delivering cost planning, tendering, onsite valuations, and the agreed final account for this project.
