Weydon School

Weydon School is a leading secondary academy school in Farnham, recognised as one of the highest-performing state schools nationwide.

MEA provided full Quantity surveying services for Weydon Multi Academy Trust to support their recent 2FE Basic Need expansion at Weydon School.  The projects provided the additional teaching facilities for an additional 300 students.  The school now provides education for over 1600 students.

Phase 1 included the provision of a new dining hall with mezzanine for additional seating, a flexible learning centre, new staff facilities, gymnasium and changing rooms.

Phase 2 comprised the construction of the new performing arts centre, the Medici Theatre. This state-of-the-art facility providing a 300 seat theatre and performance venue including associated supporting studio/rehearsal space, bar and refreshment areas.

Phase 3 comprised a new teaching block comprising 23 new classrooms, a learning resource centre, external courtyard, a new access road, associated hard and soft landscape works.

We continue to work with Weydon Multi Academy Trust across their network of schools.
